Dr. Ajay Sandhu is a board-certified radiation oncologist based in San Diego, California. He specializes in the treatment of lung cancer, genitourinary cancers, and sarcoma using modern radiotherapeutic approaches. He graduated from the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India. Then, he pursued a residency at the Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester. Dr. Sandhu is also fellowship-trained in Radiosurgery from the University of Rochester. He has been practicing for more than two decades and is currently affiliated with the VA San Diego Hospital. Over the course of his practice, he has published research papers related to use of radiotherapy in the treatment of cancer.
