Dr. Alice Boylan at the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston has graduated in 1985 from the Temple University in Philadelphia. Her internal medicine residency was completed in 1988 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center followed by a fellowship in critical care and pulmonary disease in 1989 at the University of California in San Francisco. With three board certifications, in pulmonary disease, critical care and internal medicine, Dr. Boylan specializes in the treatment of very advanced and critical diseases, including mesothelioma. Dr. Alice Boylan’s focus on research has awarded her several grants in her specific research area. At least 20 of Dr. Boylan’s articles have been published in respected medical journals.
