Dr. Anita Conte is a Swiss native and has started her studies to become an MD at the Kantonsschule Stadelhofen University in Switzerland. She then graduated from the University of Zurich Medical School in 1987. Dr. Conte then moved to the United States and followed the courses of the University Hospital Stony Brook State University for her residency. Her fellowship was completed at the New York University Medical Center, after which she became a specialist in oncology and hematology, currently practicing at the St. Francis Cancer Center. This specialty in oncology has also developed her interest in mesothelioma, Dr. Anita Conte being known as an expert on the matter between peers.
