Dr. Antonino Catanzaro is a pulmonology specialist in San Diego, California. He has an extensive medical experience of more than 50 years. Dr. Catanzaro graduated from the University at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1965. He completed an internship stage at the Kaleida Health/Buffalo General Hospital and a residency stage at the Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Catanzaro is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. He was involved in conducting a clinical trial and he also contributed to a vast number of publications. Some of his interest topics have been the detection of drug-resistant tuberculosis, rifabutin and rifampin resistance levels, drug-resistant mycobacterium tuberculosis detection. Dr. Catanzaro is currently affiliated with the UC San Diego Health System.
