Dr. Brian Cain is a thoracic and cardiac surgeon from San Francisco, California. He has been in practice for the past 24 years. He graduated from the Perelman at the University of Pennsylvania and continued with a residency stage at the University of California Davis and a fellowship stage at UCSF. He is a board-certified specialist in thoracic and cardiac surgery. Dr. Cain contributed to several publications that focused on peripartum cardiomyopathy during repeat cesarean delivery, immunotherapy for over inflammatory states, cardiopulmonary bypass. At the moment, he is affiliated with the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical Center.
