Dr. Winkler graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He did his internship at the St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and later completed his residency program at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He has also done two fellowships - one at the San Francisco General Hospital Medical Center and the other at the University of California San Diego. He is specialized in Radiology and is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Winkler has been in practice for more than 11 years and is affiliated with the VA San Diego Healthcare System.
