As the clinical director of the Thoracic Oncology Gene Therapy Program, Dr. Daniel Sterman specializes in thoracic oncology, with an emphasis on malignant mesothelioma. Dr. Sterman graduated from Cornell University Medical College in 1989 and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a fellow at the same university. Dr. Sterman’s specialty is thoracic oncology, but his main area of focus has been mesothelioma and more effective treatments methods for quite a while. He has published several works, most relating to mesothelioma and the way it could be treated using human gene therapy. Dr. Daniel Sterman’s clinical trials have helped advance cancer treatments in the last few years.
