Dr. David Yandell is a thoracic and cardiac surgeon based in Los Angeles, California. He has been in practice for almost 20 years. He is a board-certified specialist in thoracic and cardiac surgery. Dr. Yandell graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1998 and continued with and internship at the University of Louisville. He completed two residency stages in general surgery at the University of Kansas in Wichita and at the University of Louisville and a fellowship in thoracic surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Yandell has been involved in the research field as well. Some of the topics he covered in his studies are rhabdoid tumor, radio-guided parathyroidectomy, heterozygous mutations, adenocarcinoma of the cardia, ovarian, peritoneal, and endometrial serous carcinoma, bladder tumor suppressor gene. Dr. Yandell currently collaborates with Saint Thomas - West Hospital.
