Dr. Dennis Holmes is a medical oncologist from Santa Monica, California. He is a reputable doctor whose fame is mainly due to its successful endeavor in fighting against breast cancer. He has been in practice for more than 15 years. Dr. Holmes graduated from the Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed two residency stages at UCSF and Washington University - Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Holmes is a board-certified specialist in surgery. He is a member of the following professional organizations: the American Society of Clinical Oncology – ASCO, the American Society of Breast Surgeons – ASBS, the American College of Surgeons – ACS. Dr. Holmes received several awards during his career including the Pasadena Top Doc award in Breast Surgery, the Strong Voice Award in Breast Cancer Advocacy and County of Los Angeles Outstanding Community Service Award. He has been an active research who contributed to numerous publications and clinical trials that focused on breast tumors, radiotherapy, breast conservation surgery, the use of neoadjuvant systemic therapy in breast cancer management. Dr. Holmes has been invited to lecture at numerous international conferences. He is a breast surgeon and director of the Los Angeles Center for Women’s Health. He is also affiliated with the California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, and the Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica.
