Dr. Edward Setser is a cardiothoracic surgeon, currently practicing at the UK North Fork Valley Community Health Center, starting his medical career by completing the courses of the East Carolina University Medical School in 1985. With two residencies completed at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center, Dr. Setser is a specialist in mesothelioma, and a host of other cancers that affect the chest or thoracic area. Dr. Edward Setser was a military surgeon before starting to focus on research and studies for the above mentioned cancer types. He served in two US Army hospitals before accepting his current position in 2011 at the University of Kentucky.
