The treatment options available for patients who have been diagnosed with laryngeal cancer vary and are generally more effective when the disease is discovered in its early stages. Radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgical intervention are typically involved in treating this form of cancer. A multimodal approach using all three methods may be recommended in the initial stages of laryngeal cancer as there are fewer risks associated, as well as greater efficiency rate.



Additionally, there are a series of experimental treatment approaches, which the patient may opt for, such as chemoprevention and radiosensitizers, although their effectiveness is still being evaluated.
