The reduced amounts of oxygen can lead to heart disorders and even heart failure. If the tumor spreads toward the neck and face, patients can develop the Horner Syndrome, a condition that affects the nerves. Pain is usually present if cancer spreads to bones, as well as nausea or other aches, depending on the affected organ.
