Dr. Frederick Howden graduated from the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and then did his internship at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. He completed his General Residency at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and did a fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Howden is a board-certified thoracic and cardiac surgeon and has been practicing for more than two decades. At present, he is affiliated with multiple hospitals including the Alvarado Hospital, Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Scripps Mercy Hospital –San Diego, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, Scripps Green Hospital, Palomar Medical Center, Tri-City Medical Center.
