Dr. George Wakefield graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He did his internship at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. He also completed two residencies at the University of Alabama Medical Center and at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is board certified in the field of diagnostic radiology and currently practices at the Jackson Hospital, Andalusia Regional Hospital, and Community Hospital-Tallassee.
