Dr. Abergel graduated the medical school from St. George's University. He did his internship at the Staten Island University Hospital and completed his residency program at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Two fellowship programs followed: one at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the other at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is specialized in Pulmonology and board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Abergel has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital. During his career, he has also contributed to 1 publication of medical interest.
