Dr. Jae Kim is a well-known thoracic and cardiac surgeon in Duarte, California. He received his medical diploma from University of California San Francisco School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Kim completed his medical residency in general surgery at UCSF and a fellowship in thoracic surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is certified by the American Board in surgery, thoracic and cardiac surgery. His subspecialties are: general cardiac/thoracic surgery, adult general thoracic surgery, minimally invasive thoracic surgery and thoracic surgical oncology. Dr. Kim works at City of Hope Helford Clinical Research Hospital. He was awarded the honor ACS Fellow. He has published many articles in cooperation with other doctors. He is a member of the following groups: Society of Thoracic Surgeon, International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer and American College of Surgeons.
