Dr. James Newsome did his medical school and residency program at the Medical College of Georgia. He also did two fellowships, one at the Medical College of Georgia in 1985 and the second one at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering in 1986-1988. He is a board certified pathologist currently practicing at the Brookwood Baptist Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Birmingham. Dr. James is also a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Cytology, College of American Pathologists, International Academy of Cytology, and Medical Association of the State of Alabama.
