Currently a medical oncologist at the Cleveland Clinic and Taussig Cancer Institute, Dr. James Stevenson began his medical studies at the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and graduated in 1992. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Stevenson has board certifications in medical oncology and internal medicine, allowing him to treat cancer patients, most often suffering from mesothelioma, a type of cancer caused by asbestos exposure.
