Dr. James Urbanic is a board-certified radiation oncologist based in Encinitas, California. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia and completed his internship there in 2004. Then, he pursued Radiation Oncology residency at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, which he completed in 2008. Dr. Urbanic has been practicing for about 20 years and is currently affiliated with the Tri-City Medical Center and UC San Diego Medical Center. He has extensive clinical research to his credit and has co-authored numerous articles that have been published in eminent journals. He holds an active membership of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Radiation Oncology, and the American Medical Association.
