Dr. Joan Bernard is a board-certified pathologist based in San Jose, California. She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and then did her internship at the Oregon Health and Science University. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of California, San Diego and also did a fellowship in Cytopathology at the UCSF. Dr. Bernard has been practicing for about 20 years and is currently associated with the VA Northern California Health Care System. She has also contributed to an article published in the Applied Immunohistochemistry and Molecular Morphology journal.
