Dr. Joan Etzell is a pathologist based in San Francisco, California. She has an extensive medical experience of more than two decades. Dr. Etzell graduated the medical school of the University of California San Francisco. He completed two residency stages, one internal medicine at Stanford University and the other in anatomic and clinical pathology at UCSF followed by a fellowship in hematopathology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Joan Etzell is a board-certified specialist in hematopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology. He also contributed to the research field publishing numerous studies that focused on clinical areas like leukemia, plasma cell myeloma, liver transplant, small-cell lung cancer, lobular carcinoma in situ, myeloid malignancies, breast carcinomas. At the moment, Dr. Etzell collaborates with the Sutter General Hospital.
