Dr. John Chabot is a specialist in mesothelioma and general surgery, and currently practices as the chief of the GI/Endocrine surgery division of the New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center. Starting his career at Tufts University in 1979, Dr. Chabot completed his medical school in 1983, at Dartmouth College. For his residency, Dr. John Chabot studied at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. After completing his fellowship at the Mary Hitchcock Medical Center, Dr. Chabot practiced as a chief of the thyroid clinic, before accepting his current position. Dr. Chabot is known as an expert in peritoneal mesothelioma, having treated many patients and published several peer-reviewed articles.
