Dr. Jose Echeverri graduated from the Pontifical Xaverian University in 1989 and completed his internship in the same year at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He did his residency in 1994 at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital in 2001. He also did a fellowship at the University of Colorado Hospital. He is board certified in the field of vascular and interventional radiology and currently practices at the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
