The Director of TKC Ambulatory Radiology, Dr. Watts graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and Loyola University, completing his Internship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Watts graduated as a resident radiologist from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His working career started at UAB, where he worked as a clinical instructor in the radiology department. Dr. Watts was a member of several committees, such as the Radiology Leadership Council, the Diagnostic Radiology Resident Education Committee, Ambulatory Quality Council, The Radiology Process Improvement Team and the Ambulatory Clinical Advisory Group.
