Dr. Kenneth Shimizu is a board-certified radiation oncologist based in La Jolla, California. He graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA in 1988 and then served his internship at the University of California, Los Angeles San Fernando Valley. Later, he pursued his Radiation Oncology residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center, which was completed in 1993. Dr. Shimizu has been practicing for more than two decades and is an expert in the treatment of tumors affecting the breast, skin, prostate and brain. He is currently affiliated with the Scripps La Jolla Hospitals and Clinics and Tri-City Medical Center. In addition to clinical practice, he is associated with research and has co-authored a review article that has been published in the journal –Leukemia.
