Dr. Laurence Carmichael is a pulmonologist based in Sheffield, Alabama. He graduated from University of Alabama School of Medicine where he got his medical degree. He did two residency programs. The first one was in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine and the second one was in Internal Medicine, both completed at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Carmichael also did a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at the same institution. He has three board certifications in Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonary Disease.
