Dr. Marla Troughton is a pathologist based in Hoover, Alabama. She is specialized in pathology and her sub-specialties are the general pathology, blood banking, and transfusion medicine. Dr. Troughton graduated from the East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine. She started to gain experience through a training in internal medicine at the East Tennessee State University, followed by a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of South Alabama and a fellowship in blood banking and transfusion medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospitals.
