Dr. Mazen Hashisho is a well-known general surgeon in Solvang, California. He received his medical diploma from the American University of Beirut, Faculty of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon 1998. Dr. Hashisho completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, plus two fellowships one in vascular surgery at Loma Linda University and one in thoracic surgery at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. He is certified by the American Board in surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic and cardiac surgery. Dr. Hashisho works at Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport, New York and is also affiliated with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Throughout his activity, he published two articles in collaboration with other doctors and is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
