Acetaminophen belongs to a class of medications called analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics. It works by changing the way the body senses pain and by reducing fever.
UNCOMMONsideeffects
bloody or black, tarry stools,
bloody or cloudy urine, pain in the lower back and/or side (severe and/or sharp),
pinpoint red spots on the skin, skin rash,
hives, or itching,
sore throat, sores,
ulcers, or white spots on the lips or in the mouth,
sudden decrease in the amount of urine, unusual bleeding or bruising,
unusual tiredness or weakness, yellow eyes or skin

This medication is taken orally with a glass of water. You should not use acetaminophen for more than 10 days in a row for pain relief unless instructed by your physician.
COMMONsideeffects
nausea, pain in the upper abdomen,

or jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes)
