Dr. Melissa Torrey is a board-certified medical oncologist based in La Jolla, California. She did her medical schooling followed by residencies in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She also did a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the Scripps Clinic-Scripps Green Hospital. Dr. Torrey has been practicing for about 20 years and is currently associated with the Scripps Green Hospital, Scripps Mercy Hospital, Scripps Memorial Hospital –La Jolla. She has also contributed to a review article that was published in the journal, Leukemia and Lymphoma.
