Dr. Michael Koumjian graduated from the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and then did his internship, General Surgery residency, and a fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the Naval Medical Center. He is a board-certified thoracic and cardiac surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Dr. Koumjian currently practices at the Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, Alvarado Hospital, Paradise Valley Hospital, and El Centro Regional Medical Center. He specializes in surgical procedures such as Coronary Bypass Surgery with Artery Graft and Vein Graft Harvesting.
