Dr. Miguel Alvelo-Rivera is a thoracic and cardiac surgeon from Detroit, Michigan. He has been practicing medicine for the last two decades. His area of expertise covers lung cancer palliative procedures, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, pleural and pericardial mesothelioma. Dr. Alvelo-Rivera graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
