Dr. Mohammad Eghtedari is a radiologist based in La Jolla, California. He has been in practice for the past 20 years. Dr. Eghtedari graduated in 1997 from the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. He completed an internship in general surgery at the Methodist Hospital, a residency in radiology at University of California San Diego and a fellowship stage in breast imaging at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Eghtedari is a board-certified specialist in diagnostic radiology. He received several awards during his career. He has also been active in the research area where he contributed to multiple studies and covered some of the following subjects: US-guided biopsy accuracy, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, in vivo detection of hydrogen peroxide with ultrasound, individual ultrasound microbubble dynamics, in vivo detection of gold nanorods. Dr. Mohammad Eghtedari is currently affiliated with the UC San Diego Health System.
