Dr. Concepcion graduated the medical school from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed two residency programs: one at the Carolinas Medical Center and the other at the University of Hawaii. A fellowship followed at the University of California Irvine soon after that. Dr. Concepcion is both specialized and board certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery. He has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years and is currently affiliated with the Memorial Medical Center. During his career, he has also contributed to one publication of medical interest.
