Dr. Peter Kolbeck is a pathologist based in Carmichael, California. He has an extensive medical experience of 35 years. He graduated in 1982 from the Emory University School of Medicine. Afterwards, he continued with a residency in Anatomic Pathology at the Duke University followed by a fellowship training in immunopathology, which he completed at the same medical institution. Dr. Kolbeck is a board-certified specialist in Anatomic Pathology. He also has experience in the teaching field, working as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Duke University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Kolbeck is also a passionate researcher. He has contributed to multiple publications on topics such as dense deposit disease, coxsackievirus expression of the murine secretory protein interleukin-4, coxsackievirus-induced chronic myocarditis. He also published a book that described transplant pathology. Dr. Kolbeck currently collaborates with the Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
