Dr. Petey Laohaburanakit is a pulmonologist from Sacramento, California. He graduated from the Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Medicine and proceeded with his internship at the University of Southern California - LAC+USC Medical Center followed by which he pursued a residency at the same medical institution. Later on, he did a fellowship at the UC Davis Medical Center. He is a board-certified specialist in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Laohaburanakit is the winner of several professional awards including the Excellence Award and the Outstanding fellow teaching award. He is also a passionate researcher and some of the topics he focused on are exudative pleural effusion, severe sepsis and septic shock, and exacerbations of chronic bronchitis. Dr. Laohaburanakit is currently affiliated with the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center and the Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford.
