Dr. Richard Fischel is a well-known thoracic and cardiac surgeon in Orange, California. He received his medical diploma from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, California in 1984. Dr. Fischel completed his medical education with a residency in general surgery at the University of Minnesota at Fairview and a fellowship in thoracic surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is certified by the American Board in thoracic and cardiac surgery and his subspecialties are: general cardiac, adult general thoracic surgery, minimally invasive thoracic surgery and thoracic surgical oncology.
