Dr. Robert Firpo graduated the medical school from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed two residency programs: one at the Stanford University and the other at the Baylor University Medical Center. Two fellowships followed at the University of California-Davis and the Baylor University Medical Center soon after that. He is specialized in thoracic & cardiac surgery and board certified in general surgery. Dr. Firpo has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the PIH Health Hospital- Whittier. During his career, he has also contributed to one publication of medical interest.
