Dr. Robert Fortuna is a well-known radiologist in San Diego, California. He received his medical diploma from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in 2001. After getting his medical degree, he did an internship in Internal Medicine at LDS Hospital in 2002. Dr. Fortuna completed his medical education with a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University Hospital - University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2006 and a fellowship in diagnostic radiology at the University of California, San Diego - Department of Radiology in 2007. He is affiliated with several hospitals in the area, including: Pacific Alliance Medical Center, Tri-City Medical Center, Tulare Regional Medical Center, Kendall Regional Medical Center, Centinela Hospital Medical Center and Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. In 2006, he published the article “Imaging of cerebral venous thrombosis: current techniques, spectrum of findings, and diagnostic pitfalls” in collaboration with other doctors.
