Dr. Newcom graduated the medical school from Keck School of Medicine of USC. He did his residency at the University of Southern California and completed his internship program at USPHS Hospital. A fellowship followed at UCSF Medical Center soon after that. He is specialized in Oncology and board certified in Hematology. Dr. Newcom has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with Emory University Hospital. During his career, he has also contributed to various publications of medical interest.
