Dr. Sara Runge is a surgeon based in Ventura, California. Her primary specialties are general surgery and vascular surgery. She has graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and continued her education path with a residency in general surgery at the University of California. She completed her formative course with a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Runge is a board-certified surgeon both in general surgery and vascular and vein therapy. She is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation and a member of various medical organizations including the American College of Surgeons. She has also been involved in the research field, publishing two studies focused on the following subjects: mediastinal lymph node activity in gynecologic malignancies and the infrapopliteal peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
