Dr. Steve Hubbard is a thoracic and cardiac surgeon from in Opelika, Alabama. He has an extensive medical experience of more than 20 years. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and continued his studies with a residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and a fellowship in thoracic surgery at the Vanderbilt University. He is a board-certified specialist in thoracic and cardiac surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hubbard has also been interested in the research area and contributed to several publications on different topics such as coronary artery bypass, surgeon volume and operative mortality, health care quality improvement. At the moment, Mr. Hubbard works for the East Alabama Medical Center.
