He obtained a certification in anatomic pathology & clinical pathology issued by the American Board of Pathology. He is affiliated with Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.

Newman, Marc Colman and published on the 24th of December 1983 in J Surg Oncol. (US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health).
