Dr. Syed Ahmed is a well-known pulmonologist in Lancaster, California. He received his medical diploma from the Dow University of Health Sciences/ Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan in 1983. After getting his medical degree, he went to Temple University Hospital for an internship (transitional year). Dr. Syed completed his medical education with a residency in internal medicine at Canton Medical Education Foundation and a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is certified by the American Board in sleep medicine, pulmonary disease, internal medicine, and critical care medicine. He is affiliated with several hospitals, including Bakersfield Heart Hospital, Palmdale Regional Medical Center, and Antelope Valley Hospital. He was awarded the CMS Stage 1 HER recognition in 2012 and 2013.
