Dr. Syed Shahryar has graduated the medical school from the Aga Khan Medical College and completed his internship at St Francis Medical Center. A residency program followed soon at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Shahryar also completed his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the University of Rochester. He is board certified in sleep medicine, critical care medicine, pulmonary disease and internal medicine. He is a member of the committees AETNA Mercy care QM/UM/Credentialing and HealthChoice Credential. Dr. Shahryar is also a proud member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
