Dr. Bowstead graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He did his internship at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and completed both his residency as well as a fellowship program at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. He is specialized in Pulmonology and board certified in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Bowstead has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with the Seton Medical Center and Mills-Peninsula Health Services. During his career, he has also contributed to a medical research publication.
