Dr. Thomas Winokur is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, having a vast medical experience of nearly 40 years. He received his degree from Washington University and did an internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he also completed his residency. Two fellowship programs followed, at Hospital of Fox Chase Cancer Center and at the National Cancer Institute. Over the course of his career, Dr. Winokur has contributed to multiple medical publications as well. At the time, he practices in Alabama, at Birmingham VA Medical Center and also at University of Alabama Hospital.
