Dr. Simms graduated the medical school from Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and did his residency at Medical College of Georgia. A fellowship followed at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center soon after that. He is specialized in Pathology and board certified in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. Dr. Simms has been in practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital.
