Dr. Yihong Ma is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with a medical practice experience of over 20 years. She completed her residency at the Military General Hospital of Beijing PLA and at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. A fellowship program in gastrointestinal and liver pathology at the Mount Sinai Hospital followed. Dr. Ma has also conducted scientific research at the Moffitt Cancer Center, her projects focusing on the E2F family of transcription factors in cancer development and apoptosis in breast cancer, lung cancer, and melanoma models. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to several medical publications as well. At the time, Dr. Yihong Ma is affiliated with University of Alabama Hospital.
